Road Export Coordinator

WR logistics are currently recruiting for a Road Export Coordinator in Maldon.

This is a permanent position for a thriving freight forwarding company based in Maldon

You must have freight forwarding experience for this role.

Hours and Pay – Road Export Coordinator

• Monday – Friday

• 0830 – 1700

• up to £35,000 (depending on experience)

Job duties – Road Export Coordinator

• Organising collections from suppliers from all over the UK and Ireland.

• Planning export trailers to Germany but also Czech Republic and Slovakia, with time sensitive multi-drop deliveries.

• Utilising round trip trailers that are available within the contract but also sourcing one-way hauliers and negotiating spot rates when required.

• Ensuring that trailers are planned in the most cost-effective way to maximise profitability.

• Achieving strict delivery deadlines and customer requirements.

• Preparing driver packs and paperwork for deliveries including all custom documentation requirements for drivers.

Skills

• The ideal candidate will be educated in Maths and English (oral and written) to GCSE, Standard Grade or equivalent; grade A-C.

• Must be able to demonstrate highly competent computer skills in all areas of Microsoft office.

• Previous planning experience with European haulage is essential for this role.

• Previous experience in the Automotive sector would be an advantage but not necessary, the role involves working with major European car manufacturers.
