We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner / Planning Engineer to join the planning team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role and will understand the importance of taking ownership of the planning process. You will be from an aerospace, automotive or fast paced manufacturing environment and have sound knowledge of lean manufacturing systems.
Scope of the role:
Develop and implement systems and processes to ensure optimal conversion of the MRP into detailed production plans.
Monitor, analyse and report performance to the production schedule using information derived from MRP/MPS.
Assist and support manufacturing activities through a variety of operations and work centres, keeping to schedules
Perform production activities to support manufacturing including maintaining and updating dispatch lists and performing audits as required.
Package:
Salary £35-£38k+ depending on experience
