Electrical Design Engineer – Packaging & Printing Machinery – Melksham

I’m recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer for a Bespoke Manufacturer of its own range of packaging machines and printing equipment. Due to continued growth in the market and internal progression they are adding to their existing team of Design Engineers. This is a great opportunity to progress within a growing company and design a variety of complex electrical packaging/processing machinery to add to your portfolio

The successful candidate will be 90% workshop based with some client visits occasionally required

Must be within commutable distance to Melksham

You:

• Strong AutoCad Electrical experience (2D or 3D)
• Experience in the design of Packaging machinery, Processing Machinery or Electrical machinery
• Proficient with Excel Spreadsheet & Microsoft Word
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in different types of machinery the company sells including; Bespoke machinery, electrical cabinets, tray erectors, vaccum conveyors and other machinery

The Role:

• Responsible for the design of Packaging & Processing Machinery
• Responsible for the completion of a project from start to finish
• Introducing customers to new products, developing prototypes of Bespoke machinery
• Quoting of products to new and existing clients using Word/Excel spreadhseet
• Stay aways are required ocasionally when visiting customers U.K wide

Package:

• Salary: £28,000-£36,000
• Flexible working hours
