Position: Senior Road Freight Account Manager
Location: Ashford, London Heathrow
Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 17:00pm (Hybrid a possibility)
Salary: £27,500 – £47,500
Our client is one of the fastest-growing UK freight forwarders, achieving a 2021 group turnover of £460m. Founded in 1998, their people have remained at the heart of our business.
They provide a variety of logistics services that include ocean freight, air freight, road Freight, 3PL and e-commerce fulfilment.
To continue with growth plans, we are currently hiring for a Senior Road Freight Account Manager to join our London Heathrow Branch. This is a full-time permeant position based within the office (Hybrid working a possibility for the right individual) offering a salary range between £27.500 – £47,500 depending on experience.

Senior Road Freight Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Manage European Road Freight Operations and sales activity
- Prospect and win new business via telesales/LinkedIn/cold calling
- Consistently grow the gross profit and achieve monthly growth targets.
- Maximise revenue opportunities from existing customers by pursuing undeveloped areas
- Process bookings and enter all customer information into CRM (Salesforce)
- Monitor bookings, ensuring that the highest levels of service are carried out at every stage
- Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations
- Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity
