PLC Electrical Project Engineer – Weighing & Calibration
I’m recruiting for an experienced Electrical PLC engineer to join a vibrant, family-run business in Stoke-On-Trent Established over 50 years ago they have become a leader in providing Process Control and Automation, Weighing and Calibration and Turn-Key System Integration to a variety of materials handling industries.
You will be responsible for service visits to inspect and maintain process weighing equipment and platform scales and commission systems up to trading standards in commercial and industrial envrionments.
You
- Qualified electrical engineer; HND/HNC
- 18th Edition electrical
- Industrial electrical & maintenance experience
- Programming Siemens and/or Allen Bradley and/or Mitsubishi PLC/SCADA products
- Experience in the design of weighing or calibration systems
- Commissioning or project engineer experience
- Instrumentation setup and calibration
- Full Driving Licence
The Role
- Predominantly office based with occasional site visits in UK and overseas to help commission modifications and new systems
- The planning, design and construction of projects of all sizes
- Complete project documentation, i.e. checklists, method statements, risk assessments, electrical drawings etc
- Provide technical support to Engineering Team throughout the duration of a project
Package
- 37.5 hours per week
- Annual salary: circa £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications
- 25 days holiday
