Export Operator – Sea & Road

Position: Exports Operator – Freight Forwarding
Location: Wakefield

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 -5:30pm (4 DAY WORKING WEEK)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (Negotiable) DOE

Our client now offers a 4-day working week with a full-time salary!

Due to continued growth plans, we now seek to appoint an Exports Operator dealing with sea and road freight export movements to join our fast-growing, friendly Exports & Documentation department from our offices in Wakefield.

The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in Ocean or Road Export Operations or have been involved with producing documentation for export shipping & bookings. The role will include communication direct with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, the chamber of commerce, customs and other partners.

The general purpose of the position:

Arranging exports from start to finish for ocean and road freight consignments
Collation, checking & processing of export documents
Complete and submit Export Shipping Instructions
Accurately produce Bills of Lading
Produce & Process Certificates of Origin
Administration tasks relating to Letter of Credit and collections.
Maintaining our documents tracking systems.
