Hours – Monday – Friday 0800 – 1700

Key Responsibilities – Transport Planner – HIAB
As Transport Planner – HIAB you will Plan transport schedules that ensure 100% compliance with safety standards (SSOW, Method Statements, incident and near-miss reporting),
Report accidents and incidents in a timely manner.
Optimise transport plans to ensure that all 3rd party suppliers and internal resources comply with working time directive, drivers’ hours, abnormal load requirements, etc…
Ensure all Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) have been communicated to all parties prior to deliveries/collections taking place (by PM or Tech Rep for projects they manage, by Transport Optimisation Planner for Generics).
Active participation within the team and broader business environments, contributing to our collective success working as part of a Regional Transport Team.
Strategically planning and coordinating customer deliveries and collections to exceed expectations, fully utilising own fleet before subcontracting is considered.
Providing real-time updates to customers, showcasing exceptional customer service.
Supporting team members, sharing experience, knowledge, and best practices.
Demonstrate adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and legislative transport requirements.
Leading the transport operation to maximise delivery options and minimise costs.
Experience required – Transport Planner – HIAB
Previous Transport Planner experience
HIAB experience preferable
Experience with cost management
