Ocean Import Operator – Basildon – £32k
A leading logistics and transportation company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ocean Import Operator to join our growing team. As an Ocean Import Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing the coordination, documentation, and execution of ocean import shipments in accordance with global standards. If you are detail-oriented, possess excellent organisational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Package
- £28k – £32k Depending on Experience
- 20 days increasing plus bank holidays.
- Above standard Pension contributions
- Bonus scheme
- 09:00 – 17:30 – Early Finish on Friday

Responsibilities
- Manage Ocean Import Operations
- Ability to cut Bills of Lading
- Ability to complete customs entries
- Production of quotations
- Invoice jobs on completion
- Replying promptly to emails
- Good customer service
Requirements
- Import experience
- Ocean Freight experience
- Organisational skills
- Self sufficient
