Technical Sales Engineer – North-East England – £40,000 basic (circa £70,000 OTE) – Machine Tools
A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of vertical machining centres and lathes.
The Technical Sales Engineer will be working in a well-established region focusing on account management as well as looking at new business opportunities for potential growth, therefore this role will ideally suit someone with both an account management and business development background.
The successful Technical Sales Engineer will have previous experience working in the machine tools industry. Candidates with cutting tools experience or who have worked within applications engineering within machine tools will also be considered.
The role is home based with travel across North East England, covering Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Durham, Sunderland, York, Doncaster, Hull, Lincoln and Nottingham.

Requirements
- Will have held one of the following job titles; Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Manager, Application Engineer, Business Development Manager / BDM.
- Happy to cover region of North East England.
- Sound technical knowledge of CNC machines / machine tools.
- Engineering qualifications – Apprenticeship / ONC / HNC / HND / BTEC / City & Guilds or similar would be preferable
