A new opening for an enthusiastic Accounting Technician to join the finance team of a dynamic engineering company based just south of Winchester. Offering great benefits and employee support, this could be the perfect opportunity to make that change.
The Accounting Technician / Assistant Accountant / Accounting Coordinator will support the Management Accountant in developing and improving the finance function. The role includes day to day support of Accounts, HR, IT and ad-hoc Administration activities alongside the rest of the Finance & Admin Team.
The Role:
– Covering all areas of nominal / general ledger accounting, including journals, preparing accounts to trial balance and beyond to month end management accounts.
– Assisting with budgets, statutory accounts, and audit processes.
– Approve all transactional processing carried out by the Accounts Assistant ensuring their correct transfer to the nominal ledgers.
You:
– Will have completed foundation stage of ACCA or CIMA and ideally working towards completing
– AAT qualification desirable
– Strong accounts experience, inc payable, receivable and cashbook
– Experience preparing accounts to trial balance through to creating management accounts would be ideal
