Location: TW15 1UU – Hybrid after probation (2 days at home 3 days in the office)

Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 DOE

Purpose of the role

• Must be able to build relationships with airlines and haulage companies
• Involved in quotes and pricing
• Customs for air freight but not road freight (done by dedicated customs team in Liverpool)
• Attitude to learn
• Needs the drive to want to succeed and get stuck in

Air and Sea Freight Account Manager responsibilities

• Maintain service expectations of existing accounts
• Select appropriate airline/carrier/haulier as to maximise profits
• Work closely with Internal teams (notably accounts, customs and transport) to ensure the seamless movement of cargo from origin to destination
• Be aware of market trends to remain competitive
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, this may include site visits from time to time
• Upsell to existing customer to increase profit margins
• Hold regular catch up / teams calls with customers
• Manage your own portfolio of work
• Occasional weekend & OOO coverage required
• Will also be responsible for ensuring goods are cleared in a timely manner and, for road shipments, working closely with the customs Bureau team to ensure no delays

Experience to require

• Air freight operations end to end
• Sea freight operations end to end
• Imports
• Exports
• 2/3 years’ experience in the industry
