Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

I’m looking for an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to ensure the optimal functioning of air conditioning systems for commercial clients, mainly in West London and some in Central London. You will be responsible for performing installations, of air conditioning equipment in commercial and high rise residential buildings

Package:

• Total salary £45,000 to £60,000
• Base salary £40,000 to £45,000
• Bonus £5,000 to £15,000 depending on over-time worked
• x1.5 rate Saturdays, x2 rate Sundays
• Only 2 call-outs in 2022 (official rota 1 in 8)
• Minimum of 8 hours salary for weekend work

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a wide range of air conditioning systems in commercial settings
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine project requirements and specifications
• Conduct site surveys to assess the installation environment and identify potential challenges
• Assemble, install, and test air conditioning units, including ductwork and electrical components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, making necessary repairs and adjustments
• Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service, answer client questions, and address concerns
• Keep accurate records of work completed, including equipment specifications and service history
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds or equivalent in air conditioning & refrigeration level 2
• F-Gas Certification
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when needed
