Air Conditioning Service Manager

I’m looking for an Air Conditioning Service Manager for a well-known HVAC contractor based in the West Midlands. As the Air Conditioning Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the service department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Suitable for experienced Service Managers as well as Service Supervisors looking to make the step up into a management role

Package:

• Salary £38,000 to £48,000 dependent upon experience
• Company car or allowance
• 5% company contributory pension scheme.
• Private health insurance
• 20 days annual leave increasing 1 day per year

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the service department staff, including technicians and administrative personnel.
• Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of service technicians to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of work.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor service department performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Manage service department budgets and forecasts.
• Participate in the development of service contracts and agreements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum NVQ2 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
• F-Gas
• Experience of managing a HVAC service department
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HVAC service management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license.
