Air Freight Operator
Air Freight Coordinator £28-£32K
A successful multi-site freight forwarding brand seek an Air Freight Coordinator for their site near Birmingham Airport.
The successful Freight Coordinator will have worked for a Freight Forwarder and will have working experience within Air Freight.
You will be joining a vibrant team and managing the day to day Import OR Export bookings of Air Freight shipments.
The Package
£28K – £32K – depending on experience
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
20 days holiday plus banks
Company pension
The Air Freight Coordinator Role:
Manage the day to day export or Import bookings of worldwide Air freight shipments
Customs entries
Invoice jobs on completion
Extensive supplier liaison and negotiation
Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service status information
Raising job files and all of the appropriate paperwork
Process the jobs utilising the in-house software system
The Operations Coordinator Requirements:
MUST have Air freight experience
Previous working experience within a Freight Forwarder
An excellent communicator both written and verbally
Excellent IT skills
