A leading global logistics provider is seeking an experienced Air Import Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of customer air import shipments, acting as the primary point of contact between customers, customs brokers, and shipping carriers.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor air import shipments from arrival through delivery

• Communicate daily with customers, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and accurate shipment handling

• Receive and track purchase orders (P.O.s) from importers or overseas offices

• Prepare, verify, and process documentation required for cargo release and billing

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly in accordance with service standards

• Work closely with transportation partners to manage deliveries

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication

• Manage exceptions and resolve issues at the shipment level

• Support additional logistics or customer service projects as assigned

Skills and Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Experience in air freight or logistics preferred

• Knowledge of Logis Air or CargoWise systems is an advantage

Compensation

Pay Range: $21.32 – $28.43 per hour (based on experience)
