Air Import Coordinator – Logistics

We are partnering with a well-established global logistics provider seeking an Air Import Coordinator to join their expanding team. Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the end-to-end air import process, ensuring shipments move efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with internal standards and external regulations. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely coordination of air import shipments from arrival through final delivery.

• Complete accurate and timely data entry within operational systems.

• Track and trace import files and maintain up-to-date workflow activities.

• Arrange final-mile delivery and ensure all relevant documents are sent promptly to customers or customs brokers.

• Handle customer communication regarding shipment updates and service expectations.

• Maintain positive relationships with carriers, trucking partners, and other service providers.

• Prepare accurate invoices for clients and service partners.

• Ensure strict compliance with internal SOPs, customer requirements, and government regulations.

• Identify opportunities to improve departmental efficiency and service quality.

• Support overseas communication, ensuring timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure customer-specific SOPs are adhered to and kept current.

• Work toward meeting defined KPI targets.

Candidate Profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in air freight, import logistics, or related training (preferred but not required).

• Understanding of air documentation processes is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and partners.

• Proactive, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in standard computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• IATA certification is a plus.

• Fluent in English.
