We’re recruiting an experienced Air Freight Import Coordinator to join a successful, privately owned freight forwarding business in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants ownership, variety and genuine career progression within a supportive and growing team.

The Role

You’ll manage air import shipments from start to finish, including:

1. • Coordinating air freight import shipments
   • Booking with airlines and overseas agents
   • Preparing and checking shipping documentation
   • Customs clearance and CDS
   • Liaising with customers, airlines, hauliers and agents
   • Tracking shipments and providing proactive customer updates
   • Costing, invoicing and resolving operational issues
   • Building strong customer relationships

About You

You’ll have:

2. • Proven Air Freight Import / freight forwarding experience
   • Good knowledge of air import procedures
   • Customs/CDS experience
   • Excellent customer service and communication skills
   • Strong organisation and attention to detail
   • The ability to manage multiple shipments in a busy environment
   • CargoWise experience is advantageous
