As the Airfreight Operations & Pricing Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of airfreight shipments, from booking cargo and managing customs entries to liaising with overseas agents and handling pricing strategies. You’ll work closely with internal sales teams, customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure seamless service delivery and competitive pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily airfreight import & export operations
- Prepare and manage quotations and pricing strategies
- Complete customs entries and ensure compliance
- Liaise with customers, overseas agents, and suppliers
- Maintain accurate job files and shipment records
- Provide excellent customer service and operational support
- Support internal sales teams with timely and accurate information
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years of UK-based airfreight operations experience
- Proficient in handling both import and export shipments
- Experienced in booking cargo, customs documentation, and job file management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities
- DG (Dangerous Goods) training is a plus
