Associate Civil Engineer – Highways & Drainage
An opportunity has arisen for a Principal Civil Engineer to join my clients successful consultancy of Chartered Civil Engineers at Associate Director level to assist in dealing with increased workload and further development and expansion of the team.
My client also offer excellent fastrack progression to Director level with company shareholding available for the right candidate.
You would be managing an existing team of Civil Engineers and Technicians working on the design of various infrastructure projects.
The Role
- Managing the team of around ten engineers/technicians to deliver projects
- Quality control reviewing designs and technical reports
- Mentoring, developing and occasionally assisting in the recruitment of staff
- Preparing fee quotes for projects, invoices and adjusting fee pricing to ensure profitability
- Working with the Geotechnical and Structural teams
- Preparing and reviewing health and safety documents
- Responsible for the design of highway and drainage schemes
Requirements
- Chartered status
- Relevant degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of Section 38 & 278 and Section 104
- Software knowledge Microdrainage, Civils 3D, PDS and Autocad
Package
- Up to £65,000 annual salary
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Flexible working up to 2 days per week work from home
