ATEX Electrician

I’m representing a market-leading M&E contract business that’s specialised in industrial and commercial installations and maintenance for over 20 years. Due to the continued growth of the company, they are looking for a Comp-Ex qualified ATEX Electrician to carry out electrical installation, repair, test & inspection at sites mostly in the south of England.

This role would suit an experienced electrician, electrical supervisor or electrical engineer who has completed a minimum of Comp-ex 1 to 4 and is competent in carrying out electrical installation, inspection and maintenance works within potentially explosive atmospheres.

Required

The candidate must have completed an Electrical Apprenticeship and hold the following:

CompEx 1 to 4

City & Guilds – 18th Edition (2382-18)

City & Guilds – Inspection and Testing (2391)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in ATEX Installation or Inspection works

Able to occasionally work away from home (Monday to Friday)

The ability to acquire and maintain government security clearance (UK passport holder only)

Desirable
City & Guilds – Design and Verification of Electrical Installations (2396 or 2400)

CompEx 5 & 6

Government security clearance at SC level

Package:

£45,000 to £47,000 including uplift

Base salary £40,000 depending on experience

When staying away overnight a minimum of 10 hours a day will be paid at an additional 20%
