A global market-leader is looking to bring on a Inventor Technician to work closely with the manufacturing, design and operations team. This is part of a huge growth period for the company and will mean exposure to some exciting mechanical projects. - Working hours – 0830 – 1700 Monday to Thursday, 0830 – 1630 on Fridays. Total weekly hours 38.25, with a 45 min lunch break per day

Duties / Responsibilities
- Design, develop and engineer high-quality 3D models of HVAC equipment
- Produce initial GA drawings to submit for customer approval and develop them into detailed manufacturing drawings, using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Software
- Produce “As Built” drawings incorporating lessons learned from previous builds
- Liaise with internal Engineering / Operations Teams and external customers as part of ongoing Project and R&D meetings
- Communicate at all levels within the business, contribute ideas during design team meetings and undertake site visits / customer meetings as required
- Liaise with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure design / drawing fits within budget and highlight any expected cost increases through design changes
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience producing 3D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and 2D drawings using AutoCAD software
- Experience using Autodesk Vault software
- Experience working for a manufacturing company, ideally one serving the HVAC sector
- Microsoft Office skills are essential
- Experience managing or leading a team would be beneficial because of the opportunity for progression that comes with this position
