We are currently recruiting for an experienced Automotive Logistics Manager on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing freight forwarding business based in Birmingham. The Role

This is a dedicated account management position supporting a single, large-scale automotive client. You will oversee international and domestic freight operations, working closely with internal teams, external carriers, and the client’s supply chain department to ensure seamless logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end logistics and freight forwarding activity for a major automotive account
• Coordinate global transport solutions including air, sea, and road freight
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for the client’s logistics and procurement teams
• Monitor operational performance, report on KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and trade controls
• Proactively resolve any service issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

About You

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or international logistics
• Automotive or manufacturing sector experience is highly advantageous
• Strong coordination and communication skills with a client-first mindset
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and complex logistics with attention to detail
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach with excellent stakeholder management
