Business Development Manager – Southampton – £60k + package
An award winning, multi site Freight Forwarding company is looking for an experienced sales professional to join the team and continue to help grow their air and ocean freight business. The successful candidate will have previous experience within UK Freight Forwarding and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Ocean/Air Freight.

Key Responsibilities
- To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent ocean and air freight forwarding services.
- To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
- Be the forefront of the companies’ development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.
Requirements
- Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development Manager Experience is Essential.
- Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
- Knowledge and experience within Ocean Freight or Air Freight is Essential.
- Hold a full, clean, UK or EU driving licence.
