Business Development Manager

Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager

Location: Salford, Manchester

Job Type: Full Time (Mon-Fri) – Hybrid Working

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission & Additional Benefits / Bonuses To be discussed

From You:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding services, shipping operations, and international trade regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office; familiarity with logistics management tools is a plus.
  • A network of industry contacts is a strong advantage.
