Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in the International Logistics & Freight Forwarding sector, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Freight
Are you a proactive self-starter who is well-networked within the freight forwarding industry with the ability to build, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing clients?
We are currently recruiting for an Air & Ocean Freight Sales Manager to, generate new business leads, secure new business opportunities and develop pre-existing client accounts.
Our client is a well-established global Freight Forwarding group who evokes passion in every aspect of its business and prides itself on delivering a modern, dynamic company culture. They are looking to continue their growth with the acquisition of a Business Development Manager, working a territory surrounding their Manchester offices focusing on Air and Ocean freight services.
The role will require management of an active sales pipeline focusing on opportunities across the North West region of the UK. You will be required to identify, develop and secure new opportunities focused on the Air and Sea Freight markets.
The right person will have strong commercial sales experience within those areas and be able to provide solutions to clients through their knowledge of freight & International logistics. As well as generating revenue through new customers; the BDM will monitor key accounts to establish further opportunities for growth. The right candidate will have a hunter mentality; be self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
You will be able to work autonomously and be responsible for your own diary and appointments with new and existing customers. You will also be a confident communicator and passionate about your work, whilst promoting the company brand at every opportunity.
The opportunity is part of the company’s continued growth plans and they can offer long term opportunities to the right candidate. A starting salary of £60,000 per annum is achievable for the successful candidate along with additional bonuses. Additionally, you will receive a company car/allowance, laptop, mobile and a generous holiday allowance.
