Location: Portsmouth

Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE) + Package

Full time: Monday – Friday – 9:00am – 5:30pm

Are you a results driven, sales hungry business development manager, looking for a new role in Portsmouth? This role could be right for you.

My client is offering a fantastic package to help develop their Road and Ocean Freight division. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Road and/or Sea Freight.

Key Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
• To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
• Be the forefront of the companies’ development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.

Requirements:

• Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development Manager Experience.
• Road and Ocean/Sea Freight experience.
• Freight Account Management experience.
• Experience working for a UK based freight forwarding company.
• Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
• Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
