Buyer – Engineering / Manufacturing
My client is an established global manufacturer of packaged HVAC plant room installations supplying throughout EMEA from their UK site. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees’ contributions
The Role
- Placing orders & expediting, ensure on time delivery of materials
- Develop strong working partnerships with suppliers
- Manage MRP/MPS/SIC
- Monitor supplier inventory levels
- Reduce costs and lead times
Requirements
- Experienced Buyer ideally with previous buying experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of MRP
- Ideally qualifications in Materials management
- Already living in Droitwich area
Package
Fixed term contract 6+ months and likely to become permanent
- Salary £28K
- Weekly or monthly pay
- Onsite parking
- 25 days holiday
- PAYE
