Channel Supply Chain Planner
Channel Supply Chain Planner – Manufacturing (6-12 month fixed term contract)
Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Channel Supply Chain Planner to be part of our demand chain team based in Luton. The successful applicant will play a key role in the continuous improvement of the processes & procedures in demand chain.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Forecasting of sales.
- Perform volume & inventory planning based on forecast, order book, material and capacity.
- Order handling and delivery time resolution.
- Procurement of materials and components.
- Maintain the customer orderbook with respect to customer requirements, backlog, production status, production capacity, and supplier deliveries in order to maintain acceptable customer service levels
Skills & Abilities:
- Previous experience in a supply chain planner position within a manufacturing environment
- Experience and an understanding of Material Flow operations.
- A good business understanding, combining strategy with daily operational needs as well as an understanding of bearing manufacturing processes.
- Have good IT skills and preferably experience in some or all of the company systems MCSS, MPSS, ICSS.
- Have good analytical ability.
Package
Salary – £30,000-£44,000
Working Hours – 08:00-16:30 (Monday-Friday)
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Pension 10% company contribution

This is a temporary fixed term contract for 6-12 months with the possibility to go permanent.
