Civil / Structural Technician

Working in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary consultant offering design capabilities across the MEP and Civil disciplines currently seeking a Civil / Structural Technician professional to join the Canterbury-based team.

The practice provide detailed solutions to meet the requirements of a multitude of clients to innovative and sustainable standards across built environment sectors inclusive of Education, Commercial, Healthcare, etc.

This opportunity allows the opportunity for an ambitious, driven Civil and Structural Technician to progress their career within a group with experienced and expert professionals within the Civil and Structural and further reaching consultant specialist areas.

The Role

• Produce detailed drawings and plans for construction projects, including site layouts, structural details, and infrastructure designs
• Work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and other team members to resolve technical issues and ensure project success
• Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations

Requirements

• Posses relevant Civil Engineering qualifications/background knowledge
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Package

• To £45,000 per annum
• 24 days per annum holiday, excluding bank holidays
• Government pension scheme
• Flexible hybrid working
