CMM Service Engineer | £50,000
A specialist engineering business within the precision metrology and CMM service sector is seeking an experienced CMM Service Engineer for a highly technical, hands-on role.
This is not a standard field service position. The role suits engineers who enjoy deep fault-finding, component-level repair, and understanding how machines truly work.
What we’re looking for
* Component-level electronics repair experience
* Strong IT skills, with some exposure to programming or scripting
* High mechanical aptitude and confidence stripping and rebuilding machinery
* CAD experience to design, adapt, or reverse-engineer parts
* Practical CMM service and metrology experience
* A self-motivated engineer who enjoys learning and tinkering outside of work
If your experience is limited to routine servicing or board swapping, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
