CNC Maintenance Engineer – multi-skilled
A role has arisen for an experienced and multi-skilled CNC Maintenance Engineer who would like to work on new machines and develop robot automation expertise.
You will be trained on robots if you don’t have this experience currently.
The role would suit a CNC Maintenance Engineer who works for a component manufacturer with lots of CNC machines and is capable of fixing them without manufacturer support.

- Working on brand new CNC machines and robots
- No travel
- No staying away
- 38 hours week, days
The role involves installing, testing and running up new CNC machines and robots before being dismantled and shipped to the customer.

The Role
- Install and run up CNC machines and robots in factory and showroom
- Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work
- Run up the machines, configure programs
- Carry out test procedures and document findings
- Write SOPs
- Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm
Requirements
- Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering level 3 – essential
- Electrical knowledge essential
- Fault finding, reading engineering drawings
- Knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
- You must be a highly experienced CNC maintenance engineer at a manufacturer with lots of CNC machines.
- Live locally already.
