Commercial Manager / Business Development Manager – £50,000

Are you an experienced Commercial Manager / Business Development Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity to develop your career? Do you have experience selling to UK High Street retailers? My client is a looking for a strong team player, with a passion for maximising sales and nurturing key relationships to support customers across the UK and Europe.

The role of Commercial Manager / Business Development Manager holds paramount significance within this esteemed market-leading enterprise, dedicated to fresh produce farming and production.

The Role:

· Account management – Maintain customer and stakeholder relationships to a high standard

· Forecasting – set strategic long-term plans

· Close liaison with wider team – alignment with sales, finance, logistics, farming etc

· Best price mix to achieve the best return in line with business strategy

· Challenge returns and claims

· Overview of seasonal pricing (budget vs forecast) – share insight of the market

· Commercial reporting and tracking

· Allocation of volumes – daily and weekly planning required

· Support with tender completion

You:

· Confident communicator with ‘can do’ attitude

· Ability to travel is essential

· Commercially confident and experienced

· Proven track record in a commercial role is essential with experience of UK High Street Retailers – preferably within the Fresh Produce Sector

· Education to degree standard would be useful but not essential

Package:

– Salary circa £50k

– Company laptop and mobile

– Pension (5% & 5%)

– 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

– Eligibility to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday per year
