Commissioning Engineer
Travel across the UK & Europe required
We’re looking for a hands‑on Commissioning Engineer to support the testing, verification, and commissioning of pumps, chillers, filtration, instrumentation, control panels, PLCs & electrical systems.
This role is ideal for an electrically‑strong engineer with solid mechanical understanding, confident in customer‑facing environments and experienced in commissioning and FAT/SAT.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical & controls commissioning 40% and mechanical (pumps, valves, filtration) commissioning 60%
Support FAT/SAT procedures, documentation, and client witness testing
Conduct site-based functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting, fault finding and problem solving
Work closely with project managers, engineering, and service teams
Maintain accurate commissioning records, test documentation, and compliance with RAMS and HSE standards
Assist with O&M documentation and certification
About You
HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven commissioning experience in HVAC or industrial fluid systems
Strong understanding of electrical controls, PLCs, inverters, and instrumentation
Good mechanical knowledge: pumps, valves, filters, pipework
Confident reading schematics, fault‑finding, and resolving technical issues
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Europe
