Role: Control System Engineer
Location: Keele
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a growing and dynamic engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical and controls background looking to work on varied and technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for industrial and commercial applications
- Produce electrical schematics and documentation using software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
- Program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Assist with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
- Knowledge of control theory and system integration
- Familiarity with SCADA/HMI development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
