Controls Engineer
Controls Engineer – PLC programmer
This company design and manufactures factory automation solutions and robotic assembly machinery for a range of manufacturing sectors such as medical, automotive and food.
PLC programming experience is required.
The Role
- Write the software for the Omron PLC, HMI, program Fanuc robots
- Develop the control systems from the concept stage through to the final detailed stage
- Working with project leader in planning, organising and managing meetings with the customer
- Specifying and purchasing components
- Assist with the preparation and compilation of manuals
37.5 hours per week, early finish Fridays
Requirements
- Proven ability to write PLC software
- Robot programming experience or automated machinery
- Suitably qualified engineer
- You must already live locally to South Birmingham
Package
- £45K – £60K
- 25 days holiday, pension
