We’re recruiting for a Courier Coordinator to join a well-established international courier and logistics provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in domestic and international courier operations who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service.

The Role

As a Courier Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring shipments move smoothly through the network while providing first-class support to customers. You’ll be responsible for managing delivery exceptions, liaising with carriers, updating shipment information, and supporting the operations team with a range of transport bookings.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing courier delivery exceptions and resolving service issues with carriers.

* Communicating updates and solutions directly to customers.

* Updating Proof of Delivery (POD) information for pallet deliveries.

* Booking pallet shipments through carrier portals.

* Assisting the operations team with:

* Domestic parcel shipments

* International courier bookings

* Same-day and dedicated vehicle movements

* Monitoring shipment progress using internal systems and carrier portals.

* Providing administrative support using Microsoft Excel, Word, and internal logistics systems.

* Occasionally supporting collection activity by van when operationally required.

Requirements

* Previous experience within courier, parcel, express, or logistics operations.

* Strong customer service skills.

* Experience dealing with domestic and/or international courier shipments.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
