Crop Spray Technician / Tractor Driver
Do you have experience with crop spraying? Have you driven and maintained tractors or heavy plant? If you’re looking for an opportunity to work with a reputable grower of fresh produce with plenty of opportunity to progress, please apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day spray operations; pesticide application, maintaining equipment and accurately recording data.
The Package:
* Salary to £34k
* Private Healthcare
* Life Assurance (4 x annual salary)
* 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
* Eligibility to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday per year
* Fixed Term contract would be considered if preferable
The Role:
* Prepare, calibrate and operate spraying equipment
* Ensure that accurate entries are maintained for spraying records
* Carry out general maintenance of machinery and spray equipment
* Maintain spray filling area in accordance with health and safety and risk assessments
You:
* Have a basic understanding of pesticides and how to optimise application
* Hold a recognised qualification (PA1, PA6, etc.) – desirable
* Previous experience spraying and tractor driving – desirable
