Customer Service Operator – Freight | Tilbury | Up to £35,000
Our client, who are a freight forwarder are looking for a Customer Service Operator to join their growing team based in Tilbury, Essex.
As Customer Service Operator, you will be tasked in liaising with agents and customers by providing quotations and booking new shipments.
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday – 09:00am to 17:00pm
Salary: Up to £35,000
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaising with agents and customers.
- Providing quotations to customers and agents.
- Booking new shipments.
- Managing cross-trade shipments.
- Handling invoicing
Requirements:
- Mimimum of 2 years’ experience in UK shipping – air, sea and road freight
- Strong knowledge of the global freight industry.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly personality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A collaborative and dynamic team player.
