Customer service & Sales Advisor – Portsmouth – Up to £31,500
Our client, a privately owned shipping company that specialise in the shipping of goods Between the UK and Channel Islands are looking to expand their team. If you have a strong shipping background, with a passion for customer service we would love to hear from you!
This role will be based in Portsmouth
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30-5pm
Holiday: 20 days + Bank Holidays
Salary – Up to £31,500
Responsibilities
- Organising inbound enquiries for the movement of freight
- Raising quotes for different sizes of pallets
- Competitively pricing quotes
- Proficient Microsoft & Excel user.
- Collate data and analyse for individual costings
- Methodical and organised work ethic
- Working within a small shipping team to ensure seamless coordination & Smooth Operations
Essential
- Strong background in the shipping/Transport industry
- 2/3 Years working for a freight forwarder and/or shipping company
- The use of freight software systems would be an advantage
