Position: Customs Clearance Coordinator
Location: Leeds
Industry: International Freight Forwarding
Hours: Mon – Fri – 8:30am – 17:30pm
Salary:£28,000 – £33,000 Negotiable

To coincide with their expansion plans for 2022 we are now recruiting for a customs clearance coordinator to join a dynamic, friendly customs team from our office based in Leeds

Previous experience dealing with either import or export customs clearance for sea freight consignments is essential. This role will enable the successful candidate to join a fast growing department and business, with the opportunity to progress from within.

The role:
To complete customs clearances for import & export freight consignments
Import and Export Customs Clearance for sea freight shipments
Build and develop strong Customer relationships
Developing and maintaining client and agent network
Liaising with our global network of customers, hauliers shipping lines and partners

Essential Requirements:
Good knowledge of customs clearance procedures
knowledge of sea freight
Experience inputting to CHIEF or CDS
Ability to work under pressure
2-5 years’ experience in freight or logistics
Good Communication Skills
