Customs Clerk – £24K-£25K – Newport

Customs Clerk required for a global Freight Forwarding brand based in Newport.

The Package:
Circa £24-£25K DOE
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00
Monday-Friday
20 days holiday days plus banks
Service awards


The Role:
To deliver outstanding customer service while working on the import needs of the customer. This involves great customer service skills over the phone and via email and lots of IT based tasks such as invoicing and data entry.
You will be completing full import customs clearances for ocean freight
High volume of Data Entry
Using systems such as; Destin8, CNS
Liaising with operations teams across the country

Requirements:
* Logistics experience
* Customers Service
* IT Literacy
* Accuracy
* Speed
