Electrical Design Engineer – Oxford – £42,000 – Automation Machinery

My client is seeking a keen and enthusiastic Electrical Design Engineer to work in their head-office in Oxford. The role will utilise AutoCAD Electrical to design panels and electrical schematics for small retro-fit camera systems through to large industrial automation machinery.

The Role:

• Dive headfirst into industrial automation by developing ground-breaking designs.
• You’ll be empowered to bring your ideas to life through designs, architectural diagrams and schematics within AutoCAD Electrical, all the while receiving guidance from our experienced Design Manager.
• Operate within the Design team while actively partnering with the Applications Engineering team to ensure projects are delivered on time and with precision.
• Not only will you design and direct machine builds, but you’ll also have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the hands-on electrical build of innovative systems when needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical or similar package.
• Understanding of electrical control gear and industrial automation would be desirable.
• Educated to degree level preferably in Electrical Engineering or related fields is desirable.
