Electrical Controls Engineer – HVAC Controls
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global-leader in data centre technology. They are looking to bring on an Electrical Engineer who possesses experience of designing control systems and low-voltage electrical enclosures; NDPI experience would be advantageous
The Electrical Engineer position may involve some occasional European travel, all expenses paid of course but mainly UK-based around London
The role will be a mix of site-based electrical engineering and product development at their UK manufacturing site – you will play a crucial role in the release of new technology that is set to change the face of data centre cooling
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, Electrical Engineering or related degree
- Experience in an Electrical panel development for HVAC products, BMS or Building Management Systems
- Experience using Electrical panel Life cycle management or Product documentation management tools
- Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs
- Experience with ELCAD schematic or similar tool
- Experience with VMM, oscilloscopes, and similar debug tools
- NDPI experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to debug, validate, and develop/support manufacturing tests on board-level products
- Experience in design for testability and manufacturability
Package
- Salary £65,000 to £85,000 depending on experience
