Electrical Estimator – M&E

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing design, build and maintenance contractor based in Manchester.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive electrical tenders across a range of commercial and industrial projects. Working closely with both pre-construction and project delivery teams, you’ll help ensure bids are technically robust, commercially viable, and aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions

• Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements

• Utilise Trimble for take-offs and cost calculations

• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients for quotations and clarifications

• Support value engineering and provide technical input during tender reviews

Package

• £50,000 base salary

• £6,000 car allowance

• Bonus scheme based on performance

• 33 days’ holiday (including bank holidays)

• Strong pipeline of commercial and industrial projects

• Office-based role in Manchester

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E or building services contractor

• Proficient with Trimble estimating software

• Solid understanding of electrical installation systems and materials

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

• Based within a reasonable commute of Manchester
