Role: Electrical Field Service Engineer
Location: Field Based
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer to carry out service, maintenance, inspection, and retrofit work for customers across the UK.
The successful candidate will be customer-focused, technically capable, and comfortable working independently on a variety of industrial sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Service, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems on industrial sites
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical equipment and systems
- Retrofit and installation work, including actuator and control system upgrades
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation
- Liaising with customers on-site in a professional manner
- Travelling to client sites across the UK and staying away when required
Skills & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds)
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391)
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away as required
