I’m representing a market-leading M&E contract business that’s specialised in industrial and commercial installations and maintenance for over 20 years. Due to the continued growth of the company, they are looking for an NICEC Qualifying Supervisor for the role of Electrical Manager to assist with the management of electrical works on MOD sites around Salisbury and Portsmouth

This is suitable for experienced Electricians who are registered with the NICEC as a qualifying supervisor

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Electrician with appropriate technical qualifications such as level 2 electrical installation, 18th edition, 2391 etc

• Currently holding qualifying supervisor status with the NICEC

• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and procedures, including the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and other stakeholders

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues

Package:

• Salary £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Van, car or mileage
• 4% pension

Role:

• Risk assessments, design, pricing, procurement, scope of works and quality assurance of electrical works
• Based at Boscombe Down MOD site 4 days per week. 1 day per week at one of the other sites near Portsmouth
• Supervising a team of electrical technicians and ensuring that work is carried out to a high standard
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant electrical regulations and company procedures
• Conducting quality control checks on completed work to ensure that it meets the required standards
• Providing technical support and advice to other members of the team
• Developing and implementing training programs to ensure that all team members are up-to-date with the latest electrical regulations and techniques
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including reports, drawings, and diagrams
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed on time and within budge
