EU Road Coordinator – Hayes – Up to £32,000
Position: European Road freight
Location: Hayes (Option for hybrid available)
Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm
Monday to Friday
Package:
Salary: Up to £32,000
20 days holiday per calendar year rising to 25 days holiday after completion of 5 full years service with the Company
Pension auto enrolment 5% er/ 4% ee
4 times annual salary Life Assurance cover
Christmas bonus depending upon Company performance
Summary:
You will be heavily involved with Freight & Customs, from completing entries and associate documents in a timely manner to ensure the smooth movement of consignments through the port environment.
Day to day:
Start to finish process of EU freight
Creation of SFD’s or Full Customs Entry , which can be various types , home use, temp import, British Returned Goods
Dealing with queries, Customs post actions
Supporting the Freight operations team, the best you can
Using ASM or equivalent software for completion of clearance
Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures
Prepare correct documentation for all aspects of the transportation of good
Follow transport and customs regulations, where relevant, to conform to all statutory requirements
Co-ordinate the customs clearance between the customer and internal function
Monitor the clearance status of shipments
Requirements:
Experience in the freight forwarding industry
Experience using customs clearance database
Experience of legislative compliance
