The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced European Road Freight Coordinator has become available due to company growth to join an accredited Freight Forwarder based in Tipton. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working as a European Road Freight Coordinator and also Export knowledge post Brexit.

My client is a long established, multimodal Freight Forwarder, operating on a global basis. They hold a number of industry recognised accreditations. The European Road Freight team is comprised of 4 industry experts and as the company grows, it expected to reach double figures by the end of the year.

The Package
- £26,000 – £30,000
- 08:30 – 17:00 – Mon – Fri
- Bonus of up to £6,000 per year (after probation)
- Birthday off
- 28 days holiday (including banks)
- Pension Scheme (Nest)
Key Competencies
- Export trailer planning of groupage, part load and full loads
- Combining part loads with groupage to ensure the service level expected by customers are met, but at the same time ensure cost effective transports are arranged
- Haulage sourcing and rate negotiating and assessing any subcontractors ensuring they are approved and fulfil any legal requirements.
- Communicate with drivers and hauliers
- Ensure legislative compliance in all areas
- Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment
- Arrange with approved hauliers for transport of cargo, confirm availability of equipment and agree prices where no tariff exists, to maximise cost effectiveness.
