European Road Freight Specialist £26K – £30K + Commission – Rugeley, Staffordshire
Position: European Road Freight Specialist
Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 17:00pm
Salary: up to £30,000 basic + OTE
A rapidly expanding & evolving general haulage and international freight provider are now seeking a highly experienced and well connected Freight Forwarder to join their team of road freight specialist, from their branch in Rugeley.
My client employ over 100 members of staff across two branches, operate a fleet of over 70 Vehicles and offer over 100,000 square feet of Warehousing.
Their growth and success is testament to the vision that the Directors and Senior Management have had since the conception of the company. This, coupled with hard work and sound business decisions is paving the way to become one of the most successful family owned Haulage & International Freight Providers in the region.

The Role:
To establish & develop new business leads & trade lanes for movement of European Road Freight.
To oversea and manage import and export, Groupage, part and full trailer loads.
To build and maintain strong client/ customer relationships
To liaise with hauliers, forwarders and overseas agents.
Provide quotations, negotiate best possible rates and provide outstanding customer service
Represent and promote company brand at all times
Essential Candidate Requirements:
Must be able to demonstrate a portfolio of potential business and or connections/leads
Operational experience for European Road Freight, Import & Export
Commercial/Sales experience
Experience with Business Development & Account Management
5 year minimum working within freight forwarding
