Trainee Road Freight Forwarder
Location: Hinckley
Salary: up to £26,000pa
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm

My client is looking for a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their team and support the business’ Road Freight Operations. You will have the opportunity to develop your career in logistics, eventually becoming a fully-fledged Road Freight Operator. Your new career in Logistics starts here!

Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering import documents and executing import entries.
- Speak with customers, handling any requests and questions.
- Liaise with Transport companies and sipping lines and organising deliveries.
- Liaise with 3PL suppliers and warehousing.
- Be an integral part of the Road Freight Team and support the Account Management with day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- Keen to learn and start your career in logistics.
- Excellent telephone manner, customer service and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Previous exposure to the logistics and supply chain industry advantageous, but not essential.
